Make Disciples

Make Disciples

– Hey good morning. Welcome to The 180. My name is Jeff. The other day I was thinking about life and how we live and we’re working and we’re going to school and sports and hobbies and family and how as followers of Jesus we try to love God and love others. We don’t get it perfect but we try. That’s a big part of our faith. But I was also realizing just recently how one area of the Bible I think we’re missing. I don’t think we’re getting it very, very good. And it’s not just for the church. It’s not just for pastors. It’s for you and for me. And it’s the part about making disciples of all nations. Matthew 28 the great commission. Go. Make disciples. Followers of Jesus. Of all nations. You. And me. We’re not asked to do it. We’re commanded. I know it’s hard. And I know sometimes it asks us to stretch our legs because when you share your faith amongst Christians, believers, it can be sometimes easy. These people all love Jesus. But have you shared your faith to somebody who doesn’t know Jesus? Have you encouraged them to follow Jesus? One person? Have you tried to make a disciple? I get it. It’s tricky. But Billy Graham said something that I’ll never forget and I think maybe you need to hear today. He said God doesn’t call the equipped. He equips the called. Big difference. I believe you’re called to make disciples. Have a great day. We’ll see you next time on The 180.
